Okay, so there are plenty of sites that have reviewed this film. I will do my best to be original. Spider-Man: Far From Home is the conclusion to the Infinity Saga. It picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame so spoilers ahead! It’s an amazing film, but it’s no Spider-Man 2 by Sam Raimi.
Peter Parker just wants to be normal. After the events of Endgame, he wants to give up the superhero life. Who could blame him? I would too if I died and came back to life. His class goes to Europe on a field trip where he wants to impress MJ. Things turn sour as these elemental monsters begin attacking different cities in Europe. Mysterio aids Spider-Man against these monsters. For fans of Spider-Man who know anything about Mysterio, you will guess right if you think he’s up to no good.
This movie uses a ton of CGI. Not saying that it’s all bad. The first sequence of where Mysterio attacks Spider-Man is beautifully constructed. It’s pleasing to watch though I could clearly tell it was CG. I wish there were more practical effects.
I enjoy Peter and MJ’s romantic interest in each other. They’re socially awkward, which makes it cute. MJ also figures out that Peter is Spider-Man. Not really difficult to do if you pay attention.
